The Atlanta Braves are one win away from their first World Series title since 1995 as they won Game 4 the way they've won all postseason: Clutch home runs and clutch relief pitching.

The home run heroes were Dansby Swanson, who hit a 1-2 fastball from Cristian Javier out to right field in the bottom of the seventh inning, and pinch-hitter Jorge Soler who followed with a line shot to left field off a 2-1 slider that just cleared the fence. The back-to-black blasts turned a 2-1 deficit into a 3-2 victory.

For the first time since 1999, the Atlanta Braves are going back to the World Series.

Eddie Rosario continued a torrid postseason with a three-run homer just inside the foul pole in the fourth inning, breaking a 1-1 deadlock and propelling Atlanta to a 4-2 win over the Los Angeles Dodgers on Saturday.

The Astros are headed to the World Series for the third time in five years after yet another pitching gem, beating the Red Sox 5-0 in Game 6 of the American League Championship Series on Friday night.

Houston won the final three games of the best-of-seven series to clinch it.

Chris Taylor hit a two-run homer in the bottom of the ninth inning to lift the Los Angeles Dodgers over the St. Louis Cardinals 3-1 on Wednesday night in the National League Wild Card Game.

The 106-win Dodgers advanced to a best-of-five division series against the NL West champion San Francisco Giants, who won 107 games to barely hold off rival Los Angeles for the division title. Game 1 will be Friday night in San Francisco.

"That's gonna be fun. Yeah, two of the best regular-season records of all time. We've been battling all year, so I expect a hard-fought series," Taylor said.

Xander Bogaerts and Kyle Schwarber homered off Yankees ace Gerrit Cole, and Nathan Eovaldi took a shutout into the sixth inning in the American League Wild Card Game to help the Red Sox beat New York 6-2 on Tuesday night.

Aaron Judge drove home the winning run with a one-out single in the ninth inning and the New York Yankees clinched a playoff berth in their final at-bat of the regular season by beating the Tampa Bay Rays 1-0 Sunday.

The San Francisco Giants finally won the NL West without needing to wait for the rival Dodgers' result on the season's final day, pounding the San Diego Padres 11-4 on Sunday for a franchise-record 107th victory to top the 1904 New York team.

Logan Webb did it all in leading San Francisco to its first division crown since 2012, delighting a delirious, deafening crowd of 36,901. Buster Posey had an incredible day, too.

Despite being under .500 for much of the season, the Atlanta Braves clinched their fourth-straight National League East title on Thursday.

The Braves swept the Philadelphia Phillies with a 5-3 victory.

"We were just trying to hang in there and pull this thing off," Brian Snitker said. "It's unbelievable what these guys accomplished with everything we went through."

The Braves didn't climb above .500 until Aug. 6.

Atlanta will open the NLDS against the Milwaukee Brewers on Oct. 8.

The Houston Astros defeated the Tampa Bay Rays on Thursday night to clinch their fourth American League West title in five years.

Houston is in the playoffs for the fifth consecutive season, extending a franchise record.

The Astros will open the ALDS on Oct. 7 against the Chicago White Sox -- home field for that best-of-five matchup is still to be determined.
